IESDI to launch an innovative service for community energy projects

  The Institute for Entrepreneurship, Sustainable Development and Innovation (IESDI) is introducing an innovative service, CEP Real Life Modelling (CEP-RLM), designed to facilitate the development of solar energy communities in Bulgaria's smaller municipalities. This tool offers practical support by showcasing successful projects, helping local groups navigate legal and technical challenges, and turning ideas into actionable initiatives.

  CEP-RLM is part of the broader DISCOVER project, funded under the LIFE Programme, which aims to promote community energy projects across Europe. By establishing local one-stop shops in countries including Bulgaria, the project seeks to simplify decision-making processes and reduce operational barriers for energy communities.

  In an interview, IESDI representatives discussed how CEP-RLM empowers citizens by providing real-life examples and guidance, making the energy transition more accessible and community-driven. The service aligns with IESDI's mission to support sustainable development and innovation in Bulgaria.
