The collection was created by the College of Green Development (HGUt) in Norway (Høgskulen for grøn utvikling / HGUt /), in the implementation of the project "Active farmers to adapt to climate change". The authors of the collection are Dr. Rees Evans and Johann Barstad.
The collection contains practices for bio-energy from manure, regenerative grazing, improved animal welfare, carbon-positive agriculture, innovations in Norwegian agriculture and more.
The collection will be distributed online and in hard copy to students in agricultural specialties, farmers and stakeholders with the assistance of project partners - Agricultural University - Plovdiv and the National Association of Young Farmers in Bulgaria / NAMFB /.
The project is implemented with financial support provided by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 - www.activecitizensfund.bg.
The main goal of the "Active farmers for adaptation to climate change" project is to stimulate the active participation and engagement of farmers and students in the agricultural sector in Bulgaria with environmental issues and adapting farmers to climate change by raising their awareness, improving their knowledge and borrowing innovations
and good practices from Norway.
