The project is implemented with financial support provided by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 - www.activecitizensfund.bg .
The main goal of the "Active farmers for adaptation to climate change" project is to stimulate the active participation and engagement of farmers and students in the agricultural sector in Bulgaria with environmental issues and adapting farmers to climate change by raising their awareness, improving their knowledge and borrowing innovations and good practices from Norway.
During the online seminar the focus was on:
- Bioenergy from manure;
- Growing of exotic plants;
- Robotics in animal husbandry;
- Opportunities to reduce the carbon footprint through environmentally friendly practices.
